- Good morning members of American Culinary Federation, first and foremost. Let me thank you for electing me for the past few years as your regional vice president. It's been an honor to serve you and I once again ask for your vote in the past two years. So far, here are a few examples of what we've done. I have existed in chapter elections, established new chapter boards. As I promised, I have visited numerous chapters from the region, from the Bahamas to the Carolinas to continue to support meetings, swearing new officers, but mostly to listen to the chapter members and the officers on how we can make better improvements and drive the Asef forward compliance rates have improved for my region of the chapters with the support of DNA who's doing a fantastic job. I've had the honor to approve and support for new chapters in the Southeast region over the past two years. And we've seen energized motion for chapters to reengage since COVID and how to restart even small steps to get back into the meetings, liaison to the culinary competitions with Randy Torres, supplying updates to the board, representing committees at the board meeting on updates of what the competition competition game. It is important to continue the drive for perfection. In 2023 will be doing a vegan competition showcase at the trade show and hopefully we'll have a formatted for 2024 for the competition for official competition. Current updated standards in the guidelines for competition to reflect the changes in today's industry and changes in industry, financial responsibility, operating well under budget, controlling costs, travel costs within visits in the area. In conjunction with meetings, we even re allocated funds to support this year's regional competitions in Kansas City in March. Corporate support of necessary is a huge LJ. My professionalism award, the worldwide program we do as well and also sponsored National Nutrition Day as well. I'm committed to transparency and communication hosting monthly Zoom calls for regional updates featuring the first ever all regional Vice president call hosted chef with Passion for the future master chef students team USA when we even added a student chef for the Southeast region to work with the young chefs. I'm committed to continue these best breakfast and moving the Ace F Four with diversity inclusion. This will help our membership growth. I will continue to be accessible to all chapters and to the members who continue the path of positive change, not just change.
